1. Who we are
Feldo is provided by Aptro Labs LLP, India. It is a business app for organizations and their field teams. Your organization’s administrator creates your account and decides how Feldo is used in your workplace. For the data your organization puts into Feldo, your organization is typically the data controller and Aptro Labs acts as its service provider.
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile data — your name, work email, role, organization, and sign-in identifiers.
- Operational data — visits, check-ins, jobs and tasks, notes, timestamps, worklogs, and customer information that you or your organization create in Feldo.
- Location data — precise location from your device. Feldo uses it for check-ins and for the live team map. Your organization may use Feldo to track its field executives. Where it does, Feldo collects location in the background (when the app is not on screen) during working hours so managers can see field activity and routes. You control this in your device’s Settings (Location → Feldo). Turning it off may stop check-in and map features from working. Feldo does not collect location for advertising.
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system and app version, a push-notification token, and diagnostic and crash logs.
- Notifications — if you allow notifications, we store a push token so we can send assignment and update alerts. You can turn these off in device Settings.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
3. How we use information
- To provide Feldo: sign-in, visits, check-ins, jobs, the team map and notifications.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix bugs.
- To give your organization’s administrators the data and reports they are entitled to see.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
- Your organization — administrators and managers in your organization can see the data you create in Feldo, including your location where tracking is enabled.
- Service providers that host and operate Feldo under contractual safeguards, including cloud hosting and database providers, and Google Firebase (push notifications, real-time location updates, and creating route maps from location data).
- Authorities, where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service and as directed by your organization’s settings, then delete or anonymize it. Backup copies are removed on a regular cycle. Specific periods depend on your organization’s agreement with us and applicable law.
6. Your choices and rights
- Review and correct your profile data inside the app or through your administrator.
- Turn off location or notifications at any time in your device Settings.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data and account by contacting your organization’s administrator, who controls the data in Feldo. You can also email [email protected] from your registered work email, and we will pass the request to your organization. We delete account and data when your organization requests it, and will respond within 30 days. Some data may be kept where the law requires it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the GDPR). Contact us to exercise them.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Feldo is a workplace tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. We use contractual safeguards where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page and the “Last updated” date when this policy changes. Material changes will be notified in the app or through your organization.
